That way, you don't have to worry about shutting your forklifts down for hours at a time just because their batteries are dead. Your Forklift Battery Isn't Holding a Charge

Right now, you might not really think that you need to purchase a new forklift battery, since your existing forklift battery might still seem to work pretty well. One problem that you might have noticed, however, is that your forklift battery doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as it once did. If this is the case, then you might still be able to use it for a while. However, you should know that batteries often get worse and worse at holding a charge as they get older. Once this starts happening, it's not a bad idea to start thinking about buying a new forklift battery.

Your Forklift Battery Won't Charge at All

Even worse than a forklift battery that will not hold a charge well is a forklift battery that will not charge at all. You might not see anything visibly wrong with your forklift battery, but when it's time to charge it, you might find that it will not charge at all. If this is the case, then it's probably time to buy a whole new forklift battery.

Your Battery Has Obvious Damage

Take a look at your forklift battery to get an idea of the condition that it's in. If it has visible damage, then it might need to be repaired, or it might need to be replaced completely. A professional should be able to give you an idea of whether or not your battery can be repaired. If it can't, or if it's going to be very costly to repair your forklift battery, then you may need to replace your forklift battery completely.
